As election day draws inexorably near, I though I'd resurrect a couple of creepy kiddie indoctrination videos from Dear Leader's first campaign.  Just a little reminder of what sort of things we are dealing with.......

Well folks they are at it again in 2012.  Here's the latest from "The Future Children Project".  The real project is trying to get through this video without throwing up a little in your mouth.  

Rush and Hitler, One and the Same??

For 24 years, the left has been gnashing their teeth and wadding their britches over Rush Limbaugh.  One of their favorite narratives is the "Rush is the new Hitler" fable.  That particular bit of nastiness recently cropped up again in a letter to the editor of the Examiner, a daily newspaper in Independence, MO.  You can read the letter in its grotesque entirety here.  A couple excerpts should give you the jist of the letter, and are provided below:

"Back in the 1930s, there was a man who began spouting hatred against other people. Folks must have thought “Oh well, it doesn’t affect me, so they didn’t say anything.” Even the folks being maligned didn’t say anything. Maybe they thought thoughts about Free Speech and such so went on their way, living their lives, ignoring the hatred speeches. After awhile, the man had a following and that following grew. Good people continued to ignore it, not imagining that it could ever go anywhere, perhaps thinking it would die out. Well it didn’t, and millions of people were incinerated in ovens." 

"Some are speaking out against Limbaugh's hate rhetoric.  Others are ignoring it, thinking thoughts of free speech, thinking it can not possibly go anywhere or affect them in any way.  Have we as intelligent knowledgeable people learned from what happened in World War 2?  Is it our duty to stand up and speak out against hatred speeches like Limbaugh's?  ..........................................

It's time to do something about radio hosts using their positions to spread hate........

SACSTW was made aware of this letter by loyal reader Jeff W, who subscribes to the paper in question.  Jeff wrote a guest column in the Examiner yesterday in response to the letter, and was kind enough to allow SACSTW to run that column here.........

Ah, the tired old "Rush Limbaugh is Hitler" theory has reared its ugly head again , this time from JanMarie Sajna.  According to Ms. Sajna, Rush's "bigoted hate rhetoric" should be removed from the airwaves forthwith.  To do otherwise invites another Holocaust according to her twisted logic.  Noticeably lacking from her letter was the one thing ALWAYS lacking when lefty bomb-throwers get their reticle on Rush.....examples of his "hatred speech".  I'll wager that like most of her ilk, Ms. Sajna has never listened to Rush's show for any length of time.  They simply regurgitate what they have been force-fed by paragons of truth like Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Barack Obama.  Very predictable and trite Ms. Sajna, can't the left come up with anything innovative with which to attack Rush?  Actually, I would suppose that many victims of the Holocaust and their families might find you comparing the man who caused their suffering to a radio talk-show host quite deplorable.


You urge us to stop assuming and check the facts.  I have checked and rechecked your letter, and can find only unfounded opinion, historical inaccuracies, and ad-hominem attacks.  Hitler began his vile rise to power long before the 1930's.  In fact, it began in 1919 when he joined what would become the Nazi Party.  In 14 years, he had become Chancellor of Germany.  In another 12 years, he had steamrolled an entire continent, murdered millions of civilians, and died by his own hand.  By contrast, in his 24 year career as a public figure, Rush has helped thousands enjoy economic prosperity, entertained tens of millions, and murdered exactly no one. I suppose if Rush is the next Hitler in your world, he better pick up the pace! 

Here are a couple things you might not know about Rush Limbaugh.  He recently completed the 22nd consecutive year of his Radiothon for Leukemia and Lymphoma.  Over the course of those 22 years, Rush and his listeners have donated over 30 million dollars to aid in the fight against leukemia and lymphoma.  Rush's personal donations to the Radiothon total $900,000 in the last two years alone.   In addition, Rush made a 2.1 million dollar donation in 2007 to the Marine Corps and Law Enforcement Foundation, which benefits the children of Marines and law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.  In September of 2009, Rush donated $500,000 to the House Ear Institute in memory of the physician who helped save his hearing.  Rush also makes numerous other charitable donations that never see the light of day, he does it because he believes it to be the right thing, not because he wants the publicity.  Now I admit this next point is purely a guess on my part, but I'm pretty sure that Rush doesn't earmark his charitable donations "for whites only".  

Take a few minutes and think about all the other businesses that have blossomed since 1988 under the benevolent glow of Rush's golden microphone.  Heck, he singlehandedly saved the entire talk-radio industry.  Hundreds of AM radio stations with thousands of employees owe their success in large part to Rush Limbaugh.  I'm going to guess again that many of those employees are minorities that Rush supposedly "hates".  Countless companies both national and local have seen sales skyrocket when they advertise on the Excellence in Broadcasting Network.  My keen intuition leads me to believe that those companies are not 100% Caucasian either.  The Rush Limbaugh Radio Show is truly a rising tide that lifts all ships.  

Finally Ms. Sajna, I have a challenge for you and anyone else who read your letter and thought "You go girl, Rush is as bad as Hitler!".  Listen to his show for at least 60 minutes every day for two weeks.  Since you probably don't know, he is on KMBZ 980 AM from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm Monday through Friday.  Write down every example of "bigoted hate rhetoric" you hear, and record them in the comments section for this letter at www.examiner.net for all of us to see.  Here's your chance to prove me wrong.

Can We Please Ease Up on the Nazis?

Let me get this out of the way before anyone misconstrues this post...

I am a staunch defender of Israel and the Jewish people. The Jews are God's chosen people. You mess with them and you experience "grief and woe of Biblical proportions." (Pun intended.) Don't believe me? How are those Egyptian, Babylonian, Chaldean, Persian, Roman, British, and Third Reich empires working out for everyone? The Nazi "Final Solution" to the "Jewish Problem" is probably the most definitive example of evil incarnate in modern times. Followed closely by communist/socialist stalwarts "Smoking" Joe Stalin and Mao Zedong re-educating their own people to death.

That being said, can we please ease up on the whole Nazi thing? It is getting old and tired. When Rush came up with Feminazis, at least he was original. The Soup Nazi was hilarious on Seinfeld. I affectionately refer to friend of SACSTW, Rabbit, as the Grammar Nazi. But really, enough is enough. Quit referring to every person you disagree with politically as a Nazi. Last week, "Hanoi" Jane Fonda and her has-been buddies chastised Rush for being mean and calling Sandra Fluke names, and then proceeded to call him a Nazi. Not that I expect anything less from the comedically challenged left, but come on! There has to be at least one creative and funny mentally deranged lefty out there. (And no Bill Maher, you are not that person.)

Be funny. Be original. Think of something new. For my conservative friends, the possibilities of satirical comparisons for Obama and his minions of insufficient light are legion. Quit being lazy. Come up with something fresh.

Next item on the Nazi agenda: Can we please stop the self-flagellation every time someone makes an oblique reference to WWII Germans? Case in point, David Axelrod (no, I'm not a fan) referred to Romney's media campaign in Illinois as a Mittzkrieg. This was actually quite clever in my opinion. But right on cue, people have immediately called on him to apologize for making Holocaust references.

Huh? As an amateur World War II historian, Blitzkrieg is the anglicized word for "Lightning War". It is a military strategy, and not even one originated by the Germans. It is an all-motorized force concentration of tanks, infantry, artillery, combat engineers, and air power. The first European general to introduce rapid movement, concentrated power and integrated military effort was Swedish King Gustavus Adolphus during the 30 year war. Yes, the Germans did use the strategy in WWII, and yes, the Germans also perpetrated the Holocaust, but the connection between German military strategy and the systematic mass-murder of Jewish civilians by the German government is tenuous at best.

Holocaust survivors survived HITLER! I imagine they are made of sterner stuff than to let a tangential reference to WWII German military strategy wound them. HOWEVER, if any Holocaust survivors are emotionally hurt by such references, the person making them should apologize. They have dealt with enough. But I want to hear it from them, not from any political organization. Not even one I agree with.

I guess the moral of this story is:  No more Nazis please!

Hollywood HOs: Hanoi Jane!

Apparently, the old adage that "you can't teach an old dog to love freedom" has been proven true once again.  Perennial SACSTW favorite "Hanoi" Jane Fonda is this week's Hollywood HOs winner. Before we get into this week's vehemently anti-American activity, let me refresh your memories with a few blasts from her past.

In addition to these lovely images, I have always been extremely fond of this quote from her speech at the University of Michigan on November 21, 1970:

 "If you understood what communism was, you would hope, you would pray on your knees that we would some day become communist." 

She followed it up with this gem in a speech at Duke Univsersity:

"I, a socialist, think that we should strive toward a socialist society, all the way to communism. "  

So, fast-forward to March, 2012.  This fan of freedom and liberty lover Ho Chi Minh's poetry, has decided that the first-amendment right of free speech should be revoked for those people she doesn't like. Jane, along with fellow aging activists Gloria Steinem and Robin Morgan, have put out a petition to have the FCC not renew the license of any radio station that continues to air the Rush Limbaugh show.

Devoted readers, not even I, your beloved Sahib, concentrating all my massive creative energies could have written something that matches this doozie from this triumvirate of moonbat loons:

"He promotes language that deliberately dehumanizes his targets,"  

And as a Texas-sized asteroid of delicious irony hurtles towards their pin-like heads , they follow it up with:

"Like the sophisticated propagandist Joseph Goebbels, he creates rhetorical frames -- and the bigger the lie, the more effective -- inciting listeners to view people they disagree with as subhumans." 

For those of you who struggle, as I do, with the "nuanced" liberal thought processes, the scientists at the SACSTW labs have invented The Universal Liberal Bombast to Sane Person Language Translator.  Here is the translation of their statement:

"It was very mean of Rush to compare that young woman's actions to those of a slut and a prostitute.  Calling people mean names de-humanizes them and shouldn't be allowed.  Rush is a Nazi."

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Jane Fonda.  As long as there are celebrities and politicians like you out there, we will never want for new blog material.

Cavernous Trachea Strikes Again! Obama Letter to Karl Marx

Just when The Crew and I had thought we had heard the last of Cavernous Trachea, it happened again.  I was pulling the daily school planner out of Sahib Jr.'s backpack and I found an envelope addressed to SACSTW.  In the envelope was a letter with a post-it-note on it.  The post-it-note said, "Hello gentlemen!  Here is the latest missive from Dear Leader Obama to his hero and inspiration, Karl Marx.  Enjoy! Your friend, CT "  This was the letter enclosed:

Dear Karl,

I don't care what anyone says!  I did NOT have another "episode".  Maybe my celebration was a little excessive, but once again my actions were misinterpreted.  I probably shouldn't have done my Yosemite Sam imitation, snatched that Secret Service agent's gun out of his holster, and started shooting holes into the ceiling of the Oval Office, but I was just so darn excited.  Things are really starting to come together.  

Joe hasn't said anything incredibly stupid in the last 24 hours. (I wonder if he's in the country.) Moochelle is planning another vacation and is going to be on Leno so she hasn't been nagging me about smoking.  The republicans are beating the crap out of each other in the primaries.  Breitbart's death has delayed the release of his "Obama Gone Wild" video series at least for a while.  Life is good!  But you know what Karl?  That's not what really has me revved up.  I have accomplished two things I thought would never happen in my presidency. 

My two biggest enemies, Rush Limbaugh and Benjamin Netanyahu, have really screwed the pooch.  I think I've really snowed Bibi about Iran.  I think I've lulled him into complacency by repeating "Give negotiations a chance! Give sanctions a chance!" over and over again.  I never thought he would buy it, but I believe he has.  He has to keep the rhetoric up to assuage his constituency, but I think I can stall him long enough that Iran will have nukes before Israel feels they have to preemptively strike.  I am SO smart.  But he's just the little Satan.  I've scored my biggest victory against the Great Satan, Rush Limbaugh.

I can't believe Rush fell for DNC plant, "23" year old Sandra Fluke.  I mean it was SOOOO obvious.  She's a Cornell graduate for Pete's sake, and that's where I "went" to college. (Hee, hee, hee) Wait, no, I "went" to Columbia.  Oh well, whatever.  She was perfect with her "cherished" friend who lost her ovary due to the pernicious policies of the Georgetown administration.  I can't believe no one thought to ask why such a champion of female contraceptive rights wouldn't chip in a few bucks a month to help a "cherished" friend in dire medical straights. Or why didn't her anonymous friend go to Planned Parenthood or any of the multiple free clinics in DC?  Stupid conservatives.  And then Rush takes the bait hook, line, and sinker by calling her a slut and prostitute.  I couldn't get the talking points off the Media Matters fast enough.  Five dollar a gallon gas, trafficking guns to Mexican drug cartels, the Volt going belly up, more "green" energy companies propped up by federal loans failing, who cares?  Rush obliquely called someone a slut.  This has been the best week ever.

Well Karl, I have to go.  The doctors won't give me any more of those B12 shots that make me feel so good.  Eric Holder has to sneak them to me down in the kitchen.  If I don't take them, my unicorn, Stanley, doesn't show up for our evening rides on the South Lawn.  Thanks for letting me share my awesome news with you.
