For several weeks now we have been told that many thousands of migrants, mostly Haitians, have been gathering at a bridge in Del Rio, TX. This appears to be true. It is also true that it is about 2,000 miles from Haiti to Del Rio, TX and as you can see below almost all of that distance is over the ocean.

So since we here at SACSTW are intellectually curious, let's ask a few questions...
1) Traveling 2000 miles over the ocean requires significant resources. Did those Haitian migrants use their own resources to make that trip?
2) If they did, does that mean that their socio-economic status in Haiti was not as dire as some would like us to believe?
3) If they did not use their own resources, whose resources did they use?
4) Some believe that "white America" is full of "selfish, hateful people". If that is true, why are thousands of non-white Haitians traveling 2000 miles to camp under a bridge in the hope of gaining access to it?
5) If you believe that white America is full of selfish, hateful people, then why aren't you doing everything you can to discourage non-white Haitians from coming to it? Why aren't you down on the border with a megaphone, imploring those non-whites to turn back before they get swallowed up by a seething cauldron of white hatred?

Monday Musings With The Crew

• Barack Obama is a nasty piece of work, and only getting nastier as his personal Waterloo approaches.  Campaigning in Ohio on Friday, he exhorted supporters to not boo Mitt Romney, but vote because "voting is the best revenge".  Do you really need to know anything else about this petulant child?  Listen Barry, if anyone should be voting out of revenge, it is conservatives who despise what you have done to our country.  But we don't vote out of spite or revenge.  As Mitt Romney commented, we vote out of "love of country".  We don't want revenge.  We just want you to go away.

• Apparently, so does Joe Biden.  At a campaign stop in Wisconsin on Friday, Jokin' Joe said this...."There's never been a day in the last 4 years that I've been proud to be his vice-president.  Not one single day".  

Believe me Mr. Vice-President, we feel your pain........

• Can any of the talking heads and political pundits claim a 94.4% accuracy in predicting presidential election results?  The Washington Redskins can.  By losing to the Carolina Panthers yesterday, the 'Skins have all but guaranteed a Romney victory tomorrow.  In 17 of the last 18 elections, the Redskin Rule has been accurate.  A loss in their last home game before the election results in a loss for the incumbent President.  

• Finally, here is what you all have been waiting for....the Crew's prediction for tomorrow.  Fourteen months ago, I predicted a defeat for Obama 2012 when a Republican won a special election in New York's 9th Congressional district.  I'm not backing off now.  Special janitorial crews have been sent into the offices and broadcast studios at MSNBC to remove all scissors, shoelaces, letter openers, and any other instruments that MSNBC personalities may use to harm themselves as the rout becomes inevitable tomorrow night.

Romney wins a minimum of 300 electoral college votes

So dear reader, do what I am going to do tomorrow night.  Order a pizza, crack open a cold one, and watch as the American people strike another blow for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Obama And Biden Sink To New Lows

Just another day around the Obama-Biden 2012 campaign.  Let's see what has happened this week.....

• For starters, I present the latest Obama campaign ad.  The ad features 26 year old Lena Dunham comparing young voter's first vote for President to losing their virginity.  As in "you want it to be with the right guy....".  Wait, it gets better-   Before we watch the ad, let me give you some information on Lena from wikipedia.  Dunham's father is Carroll Dunham, a painter of what is described as "overtly sexualised pop art".  Her mother, Laurie Simmons, is a designer and photographer who creates "disquieting domestic tableaux" with dolls.  Ummm.....Ewwwwww!  See for yourself, fair warning...the "ick" factor is high with this one-  remember, Barack Obama approves this message.

• So while Dear Leader has been trying to get it on with high school girls, let's check in with Joe Biden.  Tyrone Woods was one of the Americans killed in the attack on the Benghazi consulate.  His father described meeting with Joe Biden upon the return of his son's body thusly.....

Monday Musings With The Crew

• Can't wait to see this week's Presidential Debate.  CNN's chief political correspondent Candy Crowley will be moderating in her usual "even-handed" style.  You remember Candy Crowley right?  She's the one who called the Romney-Ryan ticket a "political death-wish" on her show.  I'm sure she'll be very fair.  Listen to Dennis Miller's comments on Crowley here.

• Is anyone else a wee bit weary of the Obama's incessant whining about obstructionist Republicans?  Joe Biden actually went so far during his debate with Paul Ryan as to say Republicans should "just get out of the way".  Someone please remind the Vice-President that his party had 2 years of complete control of the federal government to pass any half-baked statist pablum they wanted.  In my view, Republicans blocking the current version of the Democrat Party from advancing their agenda is national service of the highest order.  

• The only thing on Sunday that was plummeting faster than Felix Baumgartner was Kansas City Chiefs GM Scott Pioli's reputation.  Unfortunately for fans of the Crew's hometown team, Pioli didn't have a parachute, and the Chiefs augured into the dirt of Raymond James Stadium in a 38-10 beat down at the hands of the lowly Buccaneers.  Chiefs....I wash my hands of thee!

• Former Senator Arlen Specter died yesterday at the age of 82.  The Republican turned Democrat who brought you the "single-bullet" theory as a member of the Warren Commission in the '60s, helped deny Robert Bork a seat on the US Supreme Court, and was one of only 3 Republicans in Congress to vote for the Obama stimulus bill lost his battle with lymphoma.  I'm sure his family and friends will miss him.  

• Looks like Representative Jesse Jackson Jr. is in the crosshairs of the FBI (whoops, is that racist or hatemonging of me??).  The Feds are investigating Jesse Jr. for using campaign money to decorate his home.  Yep, sounds about right.

The Enema Bandit

• In related news, Ronald Eugene Robinson of Florida is this week's nominee for worst human in the history of the species.  Robinson has been charged with consumer product tampering after returning more than a dozen home enema kits to a CVS store in Jacksonville.  The bad news?....he tampered with them by USING them before repackaging and returning the kits.  The really bad news?    the CVS store RESOLD them to other customers!  I wonder how that is going to work out for Ronald on Cellblock D when the fellas get together to compare crimes.

The Company You Keep......

One way to evaluate a President is by examining those he surrounds himself with, those he turns to for counsel, those he goes out of his way to support.  Let's turn that lens towards Barack Hussein Obama.

In March 2010, Jon Corzine became the CEO of MF Global, one of those gigantic brokerage firms that all the Moonbats were squawking about before it got cold outside.  20 months later, on Oct.31 2011, MF Global filed the 8th largest bankruptcy in U.S. history.  Oh and by the way, under Corzine's leadership approximately 1.2 billion dollars belonging to MF Global clients mysteriously "disappeared" after being comingled with company funds in violation of federal law.  At his recent appearance before Congress on the matter, Corzine meekly mumbled "I don't know what happened to the money".  

I bet the name Corzine is starting to ring some bells, right?  Didn't he used to be some big shot Democrat politician you ask?  Why yes Grasshopper, you are correct.  A former U.S. Senator (D-NJ) and former governor of New Jersey, Corzine was swept out of office in 2009 by Republican Chris Christie.  So, after driving the state of New Jersey into the ditch (literally), Corzine's brilliance led MF Global into ignominious bankruptcy and Congressional hearings within 20 months.  

What in the world does this have to do with Dear Leader?  I think I'll just let the administration speak for itself......

Ok, Ok, that is just a President working to keep a Democrat governor in office.  That doesn't mean Obama thinks Corzine is all that, right?   Not so fast ......

Is there any wonder that Dear Leader and his merry band of progressives has no idea how to get the U.S. economy back on track?  I wonder if any of the MF Global customers that lost over a billion dollars under Corzine's stewardship would agree that he is "the smartest guy in terms of the economy and finance".  Barack Hussein Obama and the company he keeps has driven our country to the very brink of disaster.  Time for a grown up to take the wheel.  Let's just pray it's not too late.
