The Sounds of Silence

What do Muslim leaders around the world, "progressive" politicians, and the state-run media all have in common? (Hint: The answer is NOT natty head-wear.)

The answer is the stunning sound of silence that emanates from them when their more radical followers threaten violence against innocent people. The learned Crew has pointed this out in his last two blogs. If you are not a "protected" class, you are fair game. Anymore, that means you are Jewish or conservative. (Rarely both, but that's a topic for another time.)

My question is where is the outrage from the right? Why do we not stand up for ourselves? The Israelis do a pretty bang-up job of it. Maybe we should take a page out of their playbook. Of course as heartwarming as the thought of strafing runs on the DNC and MSNBC headquarters is, it is wrong to advocate violence. SEE! I said it. Violence against innocents BAD. Debating issues using words GOOD.

Seems to me a pretty simple concept. Of course if the left gets wind of this blog, all you will hear is: "Sahib advocates bombing liberals!" Silly left-wingers, everyone knows bombing and strafing are not the same thing... ;)

Once again to slightly alter Dennis Miller's tagline:
That's just my opinion. I could be wrong... but I'm not.
