Monday Musings

One of our many hallowed traditions here at SACSTW is Monday Musings with the Crew.  Let's face it, Mondays suck...so I try to gather up a few little nuggets of blazing insanity from over the weekend to get your week off to a good start.  Let's dive right in..

•  In what can only be described as the ultimate indictment of the left, Debbie Wasserman Schulz is still the chairman of the Democrat National Committee.  She had an interesting weekend on the talk show circuit, as first Tingles Matthews and then Chuck Todd asked her to explain the difference between a Democrat (Hillary Clinton) and a Socialist (Bernie Sanders). She ignored the question, instead "focusing" on the difference between Democrats and Republicans....

the difference between Democrats and Republicans is that Democrats want to make sure that people have the opportunity to climb the ladder of success and reach the middle class--

           What DWS failed to mention is that the ladder of success can be climbed in both directions.  

           Her party is most interested in helping people reach the middle class by climbing DOWN that

           ladder. One of SACSTW's intrepid field reporters caught up with Ms. Wasserman Schulz to 

           ask her to elaborate..

          

• On Wednesday of this week, doctors at the Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine will fit a chicken named Cecily with a $2,500 prosthetic leg.  Cecily's owner is paying for the procedure out of pocket.  Seems reasonable, after all you don't eat a great chicken like Cecily all at once.

• No matter how bad your weekend was, it was likely better than Colin Corkhill's.  The 26 year old Arizona man was jailed over the weekend on a number of charges.  He is now hospitalized after pulling his right eyeball out with his fingers in the jail.  Interestingly, all the TVs in the jail were tuned to MSNBC at the time of the ocular extraction.  Been there my friend...

  whackadoodles can stand down.  Over the weekend, actress Amy Schumer made this comment about gun violence..."don't worry, I'm on it.  You'll see."  Schumer's movie Trainwreck was playing in the Louisiana theater that John Houser shot up last month.  She is also the star of something called "Inside Amy Schumer".  Uh, no thanks.

What We Need Is Common Sense Redistribution

There's been a lot of kerfluffle this week about the surfacing of various video/audio clips featuring Mittens and Dear Leader.  Barry is starring in a 1998 clip where he states his support for the concept of income redistribution.  Google "obama income redistribution".....go ahead, I'll wait..

What you found was a bunch of hysterical talking heads on the right babbling endlessly about this "breaking news".  Along the same lines, here is tomorrow's breaking news...

• The sky is blue
• It gets dark at night
• Kittens are cute

Look, if you needed to hear that piece of 14 year old audio to believe that Dear Leader favors income redistribution, then you haven't been paying attention.  The man is a committed socialist, hell-bent on destroying the free market and individual liberties characteristic of this country.  Lean in closely to your screen.....

HE SAID HE WANTED TO FUNDAMENTALLY TRANSFORM AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you believe in something, if you love it with your heart and your soul, you don't want or need to fundamentally transform it!  How much clearer can the man make it?????   Wake up people!

This Time, He Has Gone Too Far!

Dear President Obama,


 Now you have gone too far.  For you to demean and belittle the hard work and effort it takes to run a successful business is unforgivable.  When you said "somebody else made that happen", we all know that you meant "government made that happen".  In your twisted view of America, government represents the highest rung on the ladder of human achievement.  Individual resourcefulness, ingenuity, vision, and commitment mean nothing to you.  


Here is the truth.  Government is not what enables American citizens to maximize their potential and productivity.  It is what hampers us the most.  Government (particularly under your administration) encourages sloth, dependency, and lax moral standards. 


Government exists ONLY because of the immense productivity of American private business.  You know all those roads, bridges, and schools you crowed about allowing American businesses to prosper?  They were all paid for by confiscation of the fruits of our labors under the threat of imprisonment!  


In this, the greatest nation in the history of our planet, government exists ONLY with the consent of the governed.  You sir, no longer have my consent.  If you were a man of honor and integrity, you would immediately apologize for your comments, and beg forgiveness from we the people.  Alas, if you were a man of honor and integrity, you never would have made those comments in the first place.

For years now, I have heard conservatives describe you as "a good man, who just favors policies and ideas that are wrong for the country".  Hopefully your recent words will make the light bulb go off for these folks.  You and I both know that you are an evil man.  An evil man who hates the individual freedoms and responsibilities that Americans hold dear.  An evil man who wants to "fundamentally transform America".  You said so yourself.

The last chance for we the people to remove the scourge of your administration from our lives within the peaceful framework of our representative republic comes in 112 days.  I plan on doing everything I can to make that happen.
