Congressman Cleaver, Are You Ignorant Or Just A Pathologic Liar?

I'm so proud to be one of Congressman Emanuel Cleaver's constituents.  The Kansas City Democrat and chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus put this little gem up on his Facebook page today to celebrate the 77th anniversary of Social Security being signed into law........

Cleaver's comments on the occasion were as follows....

"Today is the 77th anniversary of Social Security being signed into law by President Franklin D. Roosevelt.  Now, 160 million workers are building toward a more secure retirement for themselves and their families through their contributions, and 55 million seniors, disable workers, widows and children currently rely on it for economic security each month."

There are only 2 explanations for this bit of progressive pablum.....either Emanuel Cleaver is the densest, most gullible person on Earth, OR, he thinks you are.  My bet is on the second choice.

Congressman Cleaver would STILL, after all these years, have you believe that your Social Security contributions are going into some magical vault, to be returned to you many times over upon your retirement. The only thing the SS contributions you make today are building is a more secure retirement for today's seniors, because that money is going right back out the door as fast as you can send it in (faster actually).

Depending on your current age, the people who will be "working to build YOUR more secure retirement" likely haven't even been born yet.  Let me think for a sec...there is a name for that kind of financial system, wait a minute, it's coming to me...........Oh yeah, now I remember.................................

Ponzi Scheme !!!!!!!!

You know, the same kind of thing that Bernie Madoff received a 150 year prison sentence for running.  Who knows, maybe if Congressman Cleaver keeps reneging on business loans he will someday get to compare notes with Mr. Madoff.  We can only hope.  

NAACP To Members- You Can't Handle The Truth!

Geez, who knew that the NAACP convention was so much fun?  I may just have to take a week off and cover it in person next year!  After all, what could be more entertaining than watching tyrannical black statists like Emanuel Cleaver and Hilary Shelton demean and deride the black electorate?  In fine Colonel Jessup fashion, Cleaver, Shelton, and others have in essence said that NAACP members are too dim-witted to be treated with respect and honesty by Mitt Romney.

When Romney addressed the NAACP convention (something our black President hasn't done since 2009) this week, he delivered the same campaign speech he does at virtually every other campaign stop.  He did so  without regard to his audience's color or political leanings.  In other words, he didn't treat the NAACP audience any differently than when he spoke at the latest WHAMO conference.  He treated the NAACP with honesty and respect by laying out his plans should he be elected President, including repealing Obamacare.

That didn't go over well with Cleaver and Shelton (NAACP Washington Bureau Director and Senior Vice-President).  Because Romney didn't "speak to his audience", the NAACP bigwigs have accused him of racism and worse.  Sorry Hilary, but"speaking to your audience" is all well and good if you are doing a career day at the local elementary school, but if a presidential candidate does it to an audience of adults it is called pandering.

During his speech, Romney stated his desire to overturn Obamacare, help bring down the 14.4 % unemployment rate among blacks, and improve education for all Americans.

Here is what Cleaver and Shelton would have you believe Romney actually meant.....

"Alright you lazy shiftless homeboys, time for you to put the crack pipe down, stop banging every sister in sight, get off the couch and get a job"

Even more despicable, some (including the ever lucid Nancy Pelosi)  have suggested that Romney intentionally elicited the boos from the NAACP in order to rile up the racist crackers that are the conservative electorate.  Last night, Bill O'Reilly gave Hilary Shelton the chance to distance the NAACP from such bizarre accusations, but he demurred.  The subsequent interview was Bill O'Reilly at his finest, and a truly frightening look into the mind of the progressive black establishment.

Rep. Cleaver- Criticizing Obamacare is racism!

My old buddy (and congressman) Emanuel Cleaver is at it again.  His comments after Mitt Romney's appearance at this week's NAACP convention would suggest that the good Reverend believes any criticism of Barack Obama is racism, particularly when said in front of a group such as the NAACP.

Yes, Romney was booed when he promised to repeal Obamacare.  Hey, I'm sure that didn't come as any great surprise to the GOP nominee.  What many mainstream media outlets aren't telling you is that the NAACP cheered Romney when he talked about the importance of issues like traditional marriage, jobs, and family.

I planned to use this space to go on a diatribe against the despical Emanuel Cleaver, until I found this video from a SACSTW favorite, Kira Davis.  On Feb. 29, we posted one of Kira's videos, and that has gone on to be the most-viewed post in SACSTW history.  Well, Kira has hit another home run with her response to Congressman Cleaver........

Monday Musings With The Crew

Fresh off a weekend of seclusion at the SACSTW Ozark hideaway, I have emerged to bring you yet another edition of Monday Musings.

• From the "We Didn't Really Think This Through" Department:  Animal rights activists from Showing Animals Respect and Kindness (SHARK) planned to document a South Carolina pigeon shoot by filming it from a remotely controlled micro helicopter.  Hmmm, harassing hunters with a small flying object.  When participants in the pigeon shoot heard about the plans, the event quickly morphed into a "micro-helicopter shoot".  Shortly after SHARK launched their drone, it was blasted out of the sky by numerous shotgun rounds.  By the way, is SHARK really the best acronym for a group concerned about treating animals with respect and kindness?

• More fun animal news....   Remember the spotted owl?  It was the original darling of the enviro-animal rights-down with industry whack jobs back in the 80's.  The Obama administration has developed a new  plan to save the spotted owl.....by killing all the other owls.  It seems that more aggressive barred owls are displacing their spotted cousins from their preferred environment.  The feds have decided to gun down barred owls over the next few years in another attempt to save the spotted owl.  It seems that (with apologies to Mr. Orwell) all owls are equal, but some owls are more equal than others.

• A quick report on the Crew's congressman, the odious Emanuel Cleaver.  The former Kansas City mayor turned U.S. Congressman (and chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus by the way) is being sued by Bank of America for defaulting on a 1.5 million dollar loan on a carwash business in the Kansas City area.  Just another notch in Manny's long history of questionable financial dealings.  The kicker here is that you and I are on the hook for the bill.  The carwash loan has an SBA guarantee, meaning the US taxpayer will foot 75% of the bill.  Shockingly, the congressman has had no comment on the issue.

• To continue the animal theme today (hey, I just spent the weekend out in the woods), have you heard that Alicia Silverstone is supplementing her fading movie career by opening a daycare operation in her home?  SACSTW has obtained video of lunchtime........

Please be advised that the MOT-BCT is hereby activating Hate Crime Protocol A in the Kansas City division.  This activation is in response to the following incident on 28 February, 2012.  To wit:

A 13 year old minority student at Kansas City's East High School was burned by two older teens on his front porch.  According to police reports, the student was followed home by the older students, and accosted on the front porch of his home.  One of the attackers grabbed a gasoline can on the porch, splashing gasoline on the victim and the porch.  Saying "this is what you get, boy", the other attacker used a lighter to ingnite the gasoline, causing burns to the victim's face.  The two assailants then fled the scene.  

Due to the obvious hate crime implications of this case, Protocol A is now active.  The following measures will be initiated forthwith:

• Local citizen agitator Alonzo Washington will go on Kansas City televison news, decrying the continued violence against minorities at East High School, and the lack of action on the part of the Kansas City Police Department.

• As this hateful act occurred within the congressional district of Congressional Black Caucus Chairman Emanuel Cleaver, Representative Cleaver shall make an impassioned plea from the floor of the House to halt the violence.  Representative Cleaver will meet with the victim's parents, and hold a series of town hall meetings in his district to discuss the continuing problem of hate crimes in urban Kansas City.

• The Kansas City Star will continue to cover this story on a daily basis, emphasizing the hate crime aspects.  The editorial page shall issue no less than 3 opinion columns calling for more federal spending to fight hate crimes, more tolerance for diversity, and an increase in funding for the Kansas City Public School District.

• Kansas City Police Chief Daryl Forte will hold a press conference at which he will emotionally state how this case has affected him personally as a black man from Kansas City.  

• The U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Missouri will announce her plans to prosecute the offenders under federal anti-hate crime statutes.

• Weekly candlight vigils and outpourings of community support for the victim are mandated.

• The perpetrators in the East High School attack are black.
• The complete quote (although not reported by the KC Star) from the attacker was "This is what you get, white boy".
