Meet the Ravaged Taxpayer of Missouri

The scent lingered in the air,drawing the attention of the beasts.  It was familiar,and tugged at their brainstem, urging them to respond.  A couple more sniffs, and they were sure…….somewhere in the great state of Missouri, someone was trying to return tax money to the taxpayers.  

The beasts paused, and lifted their foul snouts from the bloody and torn carcass of the taxpayer.  Slavering and dripping with Other People’s Money, their jaws opened to render a baleful howl…….

“With a price tag of $800 million, this legislation (the proposed tax cut) is an ill-conceived, fiscally irresponsible experiment that would hurt our economy, and jeopardize funding for public services”...........Governor Jay Nixon

“The bill will have a devastating effect on our school district…….we will have to start making cuts immediately that will effect students education.   Corporations will be seeing more profit, and our students will be paying the price”..................Independence (MO) Superintendent Dale Herl

“passing HB 253 hurts education, transportation, mental health and all other priorities we have as a state”      Missouri State Senator Paul Levota (D-11)

Once again, the creatures suckling at the public teat got their way.  After the Missouri General Assembly passed the first income tax rate cut in the state in OVER 100 YEARS, it was promptly vetoed by Democratic Governor Jay Nixon.  The Assembly held their veto session this week, and fell short of overriding Nixon’s veto.  

So there ya go….the torrent of OPM that flows from the people to the government goes unstaunched.  Any attempt to do so is met with the predictable and trite laments of how it will ruin the lives of children, cause the elderly to burst into flame, and force ugly chicks to purchase their own birth control.  

The great beasts are satisfied now, for the moment.  They lower their loathsome heads, and resume ripping and tearing at the taxpayer’s corpse, consuming every last fiber of meat and gobbet of fat.  

   

Monday Musings With The Crew

I have to confess.....I was so overwhelmed with the lunacy of the left last week, that I just couldn't form any coherent posts on any of the topics.  Let's try to sum up a few of the humdingers in Monday Musings today....

Excuse me while I whip this out!

• It has come to this.  In the country of Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, and Reagan, it has come to this. Today, if you google the phrase "duck penis", the first thing you find is a story about the United States federal government.  Sufferin' succotash!  It seems that you and I gave researchers at Yale University $400,000 for a study entitled "Sexual Conflict, Social Behavior, and the Evolution of Waterfowl Genitalia".  Here is my question.....If this grant request was approved, exactly what do you have to propose researching in order to have a grant request denied?  The soul shudders at the thought.....

• Florida State Senator Audrey Gibson (D-Jacksonville) has proposed legislation that would require purchasers of ammunition to present proof that they have taken and passed an anger management class.  Obviously she is one of the great Constitutional scholars of our time.

• Anthony Mayo was arrested in Mojave, CA on charges that he murdered his wife in August of 2012 in Las Vegas.  He allegedly beat his wife with a vacuum cleaner, and she succumbed to her brain injury 2 weeks later.  Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) responded by calling for a ban on all vacuums with a canister or bag capacity over 1 quart.  "There can be no justification for having these high-capacity devices in the hands of ordinary citizens" said the Senator, adding "They just suck."  

• Can we finally put to rest the notion that Barack Obama is the most brilliant man to every occupy the Oval Office?  Last week on his sojourn through the Middle East, Dear Leader spent much of his time talking about the "2 state" solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.  Here is one of his more outrageous comments...

And those two states I think will be able to deal with each other the same way all states do.  I mean, the United States and Canada has arguments once in a while, but they're not the nature of arguments  that can't be solved diplomatically.

Grammatical difficulties aside, did the President of the United States just equate the Israeli-Palestinian conflict with the relationship the United States has with Canada along our northern border?  That seems a bit of a stretch, even for Dear Leader.  I mean, it has been months since the Canucks lobbed a missile strike into the U.S., and anyway they are just mad that it has been 20 years since a team from Canada won the Stanley Cup!

An interesting caveat to these great words of wisdom from Dear Leader......he delivered them while standing under a giant picture of Yasser Arafat, the father of modern terrorism.  I'm sure this photo gives Netanyahu a warm cozy feeling.....

Dianne Feinstein: It's Legal To Hunt Humans....Really

Here at SACSTW, we strive to illustrate the sheer idiocy of the left.  To that end, we occasionally use hyperbole, satire, and other tools with which to skewer our prey.  At other times, we just let them fall on their own sword.......

All these years I have thought these were used to display clothing,  now I find out they are really hunting decoys......

Rush and Hitler, One and the Same??

For 24 years, the left has been gnashing their teeth and wadding their britches over Rush Limbaugh.  One of their favorite narratives is the "Rush is the new Hitler" fable.  That particular bit of nastiness recently cropped up again in a letter to the editor of the Examiner, a daily newspaper in Independence, MO.  You can read the letter in its grotesque entirety here.  A couple excerpts should give you the jist of the letter, and are provided below:

"Back in the 1930s, there was a man who began spouting hatred against other people. Folks must have thought “Oh well, it doesn’t affect me, so they didn’t say anything.” Even the folks being maligned didn’t say anything. Maybe they thought thoughts about Free Speech and such so went on their way, living their lives, ignoring the hatred speeches. After awhile, the man had a following and that following grew. Good people continued to ignore it, not imagining that it could ever go anywhere, perhaps thinking it would die out. Well it didn’t, and millions of people were incinerated in ovens." 

"Some are speaking out against Limbaugh's hate rhetoric.  Others are ignoring it, thinking thoughts of free speech, thinking it can not possibly go anywhere or affect them in any way.  Have we as intelligent knowledgeable people learned from what happened in World War 2?  Is it our duty to stand up and speak out against hatred speeches like Limbaugh's?  ..........................................

It's time to do something about radio hosts using their positions to spread hate........

SACSTW was made aware of this letter by loyal reader Jeff W, who subscribes to the paper in question.  Jeff wrote a guest column in the Examiner yesterday in response to the letter, and was kind enough to allow SACSTW to run that column here.........

Ah, the tired old "Rush Limbaugh is Hitler" theory has reared its ugly head again , this time from JanMarie Sajna.  According to Ms. Sajna, Rush's "bigoted hate rhetoric" should be removed from the airwaves forthwith.  To do otherwise invites another Holocaust according to her twisted logic.  Noticeably lacking from her letter was the one thing ALWAYS lacking when lefty bomb-throwers get their reticle on Rush.....examples of his "hatred speech".  I'll wager that like most of her ilk, Ms. Sajna has never listened to Rush's show for any length of time.  They simply regurgitate what they have been force-fed by paragons of truth like Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Barack Obama.  Very predictable and trite Ms. Sajna, can't the left come up with anything innovative with which to attack Rush?  Actually, I would suppose that many victims of the Holocaust and their families might find you comparing the man who caused their suffering to a radio talk-show host quite deplorable.


You urge us to stop assuming and check the facts.  I have checked and rechecked your letter, and can find only unfounded opinion, historical inaccuracies, and ad-hominem attacks.  Hitler began his vile rise to power long before the 1930's.  In fact, it began in 1919 when he joined what would become the Nazi Party.  In 14 years, he had become Chancellor of Germany.  In another 12 years, he had steamrolled an entire continent, murdered millions of civilians, and died by his own hand.  By contrast, in his 24 year career as a public figure, Rush has helped thousands enjoy economic prosperity, entertained tens of millions, and murdered exactly no one. I suppose if Rush is the next Hitler in your world, he better pick up the pace! 

Here are a couple things you might not know about Rush Limbaugh.  He recently completed the 22nd consecutive year of his Radiothon for Leukemia and Lymphoma.  Over the course of those 22 years, Rush and his listeners have donated over 30 million dollars to aid in the fight against leukemia and lymphoma.  Rush's personal donations to the Radiothon total $900,000 in the last two years alone.   In addition, Rush made a 2.1 million dollar donation in 2007 to the Marine Corps and Law Enforcement Foundation, which benefits the children of Marines and law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.  In September of 2009, Rush donated $500,000 to the House Ear Institute in memory of the physician who helped save his hearing.  Rush also makes numerous other charitable donations that never see the light of day, he does it because he believes it to be the right thing, not because he wants the publicity.  Now I admit this next point is purely a guess on my part, but I'm pretty sure that Rush doesn't earmark his charitable donations "for whites only".  

Take a few minutes and think about all the other businesses that have blossomed since 1988 under the benevolent glow of Rush's golden microphone.  Heck, he singlehandedly saved the entire talk-radio industry.  Hundreds of AM radio stations with thousands of employees owe their success in large part to Rush Limbaugh.  I'm going to guess again that many of those employees are minorities that Rush supposedly "hates".  Countless companies both national and local have seen sales skyrocket when they advertise on the Excellence in Broadcasting Network.  My keen intuition leads me to believe that those companies are not 100% Caucasian either.  The Rush Limbaugh Radio Show is truly a rising tide that lifts all ships.  

Finally Ms. Sajna, I have a challenge for you and anyone else who read your letter and thought "You go girl, Rush is as bad as Hitler!".  Listen to his show for at least 60 minutes every day for two weeks.  Since you probably don't know, he is on KMBZ 980 AM from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm Monday through Friday.  Write down every example of "bigoted hate rhetoric" you hear, and record them in the comments section for this letter at www.examiner.net for all of us to see.  Here's your chance to prove me wrong.

Democrats Looking to Exorcise The Demons of the GOP

Maxine could use a spa day!

Was there some nationwide screening of the Exorcist for liberals that I don't know about?  Everywhere I look today, some progressive whackitron is making references to casting out the demons and evil spirits that are the Republicans.

First up is Clarence B. Jones, with a column at The Huffington Post titled..."Demonizing Obama and the Politics of Morality".  Read it here if you are done eating.  Obviously Clarence, the left would never stoop so low as to "demonize" a political opponent, right?  Uh, not so fast pea-soup breath!

Next is SACSTW favorite Maxine Waters.  Speaking to California Democrats, the lovely, reasoned, and well balanced Rep.Waters (D-Ca) had this to say on the topic of Satan's minions....

Shockingly, no mention of a member of Congress referring to other members as "demons" made its way onto the websites of ABC news, CNN, MSNBC, or CBC.  The Huffington Post did obliquely mention the story, but only in a hit piece on Fox News anchor Eric Bolling, who advised Waters to "step away from the crack pipe".  Not only did the kind and gentle Rep. Waters call 2 GOP leaders "demons", she went on to characterize them as "legislators who are destroying this country rather than bringing us together".  There's an old saying about a pot and a kettle that would be appropriate here, but I don't dare use it as it also contains the word "black".

Actually, part of what Maxine spewed is correct.....this conservative doesn't want to "come together" with Mad Maxine.....short pause while the cold chill finishes traversing my spine...., I want Maxine and her gang of haters to go away, and never foul the stage of government again.  Conservatives need to be trying to defeat and vanquish, not compromise with people who want to "transform" America.

Finally there is this question.....how does a Republican presidential candidate know when the liberal establishment is worried about him?   Answer:  When the Huffington Post runs this photo as the lead on their Politics page......

Mouth open in mid-satanic chant....check

Name that kind of sounds like some religious thingy....check

Thank goodness the liberal establishment would never seek to demonize conservatives!
